Changelog

1.1.0 (2019-06-18)

  • Opt-in Support for High Availability Redis Clusters.

  • New Kubernetes scheduling rules to ensure solid uptime during cluster maintenance and service issues.

  • Updated Container templates with latest security updates.

  • Further work to ensure correct resource allocations for different resource profiles.

  • Refactored logging system:

Kubernetes now allows us proper inter container signaling which allows us to ensure continuous log streams during container restarts. Log rotation can now be better utilized without the risk of interrupting log streams.

1.0.15 (2019-05-29)

  • Updated base PHP-FPM image with n98-magerun2 upgraded to version 3.0.8

n98-magerun2 3.0.5 had issues determining if a database upgrade schema had run or not in Magento 2.3.X This caused false positives when determining if we needed to run the setup:upgrade routine in between deployments.

1.0.14 (2019-05-28)

  • Increased redis max_concurrency to allow a unique customer to open more than the previously allowed 6 concurrent sessions.

The new Klarna payment module for magento 2.3.X made enough authenticated AJAX requests in the checkout to supersede the old limit.

1.0.13 (2019-04-26)

  • Updated our webhook-server in preparation for Bitbucket API Changes on 29 April

Because of this the username of the Bitbucket user who started a build will no longer be available in the build log, only that users UUID is available.

1.0.12 (2019-04-10)

  • Released new version 1.1.4 of module Elastycloud_Smtp

This fixes issues 14952 & 17781 for Magento versions 2.2.* by setting the “From” header on all outgoing emails, if it is empty.

1.0.11 (2019-03-27)

  • Released new versions (5.0.2 & 6.0.1) of elastycloud/magentopatches

    • Adds a fix for issue 19590 in Magento 2.3.0 & 2.3.1.

If core_config_data contains a value that was encrypted with another encryption key than is currently configured, decrypt() returned boolean false, starting in Magento 2.3.0. Before this decrypt just returned an empty string.

This caused a fatal error in all CLI-operations.

This happens frequently when importing a database from another deployment.

  • New version of Environment Versions released

    • Updated n98-magerun2 to version 3.0.5 to add support for Magento 2.3.1
  • Fixed issue in deployment upgrade flow

    • In some cases Magento required the file var/.sample-data-state.flag to we writable during setup:upgrade. Resulting in a cryptic error:

Path "/var/www/html/magento/var/" cannot be used with directory "/var/www/html/magento/var/"

  • New release 1.9.0 of Magento Base Package with support for Magento 2.3.1

  • Elastycloud now fully support Magento 2.3.1

  • Released new version 2.2.0 of elastycloud/skeleton-magento template-package

    • Now defaults to Magento 2.3.1
